Sister taxa: Meiatermes araripena, Meiatermes bertrani, Meiatermes hariolus
Type specimen: CCNH 73, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Pedreira Três Irmãos quarry, Crato (UFABC CCNH collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Pedreira Três Irmãos quarry, Crato (UFABC CCNH collection)
