Type specimen: part of the skull and most of the postcranial skeleton, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Menat (Piton collection), which is in a Selandian crater lake diatomite in the Menat Formation of France.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at Menat (Piton collection)
