Type specimen: MGSB 81950, a partial skeleton (nearly complete articulated skeleton with S‐shaped vertebral column). Its type locality is Múnter, which is in a Bartonian offshore shelf marl/sandstone in the Vic-Manlleu Marls Formation of Spain.
