Type specimen: SMG-O9-L1, a footprint. Its type locality is Shimiaogou tracksite, which is in a Barremian/Albian fluvial sandstone in the Jiaguan Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Shimiaogou tracksite
