Type specimen: UCMP 31848. Its type locality is UCMP loc. A498, foothills of La Panza Range, which is in a Miocene coastal siliciclastic in the Vaqueros Formation of California.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Miocene of United States (2: California collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
