Type specimen: LACMIP 8141. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 11936, Arroyo Vargas, Cedros Island, which is in an Albian coastal conglomerate in the Valle Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Mexico (3 collections)
