Type specimen: MfN MB.C.29375, a shell. Its type locality is Sand 3, Herkenrather Straße 70, Bergisch Gladbach, which is in a Frasnian offshore shale in the Sand Formation of Germany.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
