Type specimen: MUVP 505, a limb element (right tibiotarsus). Its type locality is Garet Gehannam, Birket Qarun Fm., which is in a Priabonian offshore shelf claystone in the Birket Qarun Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Garet Gehannam, Birket Qarun Fm.
