Type specimen: K 29-469, a mandible (left mandible containing m1-p4, the posterior half of p3, the anterior root of p3 and the posterior one of p2). Its type locality is Hari Talyangar, Himichal Pradesh, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in India.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at Hari Talyangar, Himichal Pradesh
