Type specimen: KNM-ME 20A, a mandible (left dentary with canine, p4, m3, and alveoli of p3, m1, and m2). Its type locality is Muhoroni Agglomerates, Meswa Bridge, which is in a Miocene channel sandstone in the Muhroni Agglomerates Formation of Kenya.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Muhoroni Agglomerates, Meswa Bridge
