Type specimen: PIN 5538/9-18, a shell. Its type locality is Shakhtau open pit, sample 9, which is in an Asselian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Shakhtau Reef Formation of the Russian Federation.

Ecology: slow-moving epifaunal detritivore
