Sister taxa: Microuloborus ater, Microuloborus birmanicus

Type specimen: F3624/BU/CJW, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Wunderlich coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.

Distribution: found only at Burmese amber (Wunderlich coll)
