Sister taxa: Rabdiolepis gwyneddensis, Rabdiolepis speciosa
Type specimen: ANSP Bock 42. Its type locality is Gwynedd Tunnel (thin shales), which is in a Norian pond shale in the Lockatong Formation of Pennsylvania.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Gwynedd Tunnel (thin shales)
