Type specimen: MOZ-PV-1854, a partial skeleton (A partially articulated skull, mandible and postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is El Ministerio Quarry, Los Catutos, which is in a Tithonian marine horizon in the Vaca Muerta Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at El Ministerio Quarry, Los Catutos
