Type specimen: MNHN 1946-18-1162, a skeleton. Its type locality is Sahel Alma (Dubertret collection, MNHN), which is in a Santonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in Lebanon.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Sahel Alma (Dubertret collection, MNHN)
