Type specimen: FOBU13830, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Smith Hollow quarry (18-inch layer), which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
