Type specimen: TMP 2008.036.0006, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is East bank of St. Mary River, south of Lethbridge, which is in a Campanian marine horizon in the Bearpaw Shale Formation of Canada.

Distribution: found only at East bank of St. Mary River, south of Lethbridge
