Type specimen: PPP-3455-T-1, a tooth. Its type locality is Playa de Oro, which is in a Serravallian/Tortonian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Angostura Formation of Ecuador.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Playa de Oro
