Belongs to Berycopsis according to A. F. Bannikov and F. Bacchia 2005
Sister taxa: Berycopsis elegans, Berycopsis germanus, Berycopsis paucoradius, Platycormus gibbosus
Type specimen: PIN 5089-3, a skeleton. Its type locality is Hadjoula (PIN collection), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in Lebanon.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Lebanon (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
