Type specimen: DMNH PAL 2011-01-01, a skeleton. Its type locality is Grapevine Creek, Coppell, which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian marine siliciclastic in the Britton Formation of Texas.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Grapevine Creek, Coppell
