Type specimen: BMNH P4868, a skeleton. Its type locality is Hakel (Lewis collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Hakel (Lewis collection)
