Sister taxon: Lacunaria striata

Type specimen: IGM 4375. Its type locality is PU 1300-2 - 1.6 km north and 3.7 km east of intersection of Cajiloa Creek, which is in a Thanetian shallow subtidal shale/sandstone in the Sepultura Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at PU 1300-2 - 1.6 km north and 3.7 km east of intersection of Cajiloa Creek
