Type specimen: LACMIP 7564, a partial shell. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 26525, Dip Creek, Lake Nacimiento, which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the El Piojo Formation of California.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at LACMIP loc. 26525, Dip Creek, Lake Nacimiento
