Type specimen: UCMP 33426, a partial shell. Its type locality is Alisitos Fm. (UCB A-8321), which is in an Aptian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Alisitos Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution: found only at Alisitos Fm. (UCB A-8321)
