Type specimen: UCMP 33429, a shell. Its type locality is Alisitos Fm. (UCB A-8316), which is in an Aptian shallow subtidal conglomerate in the Alisitos Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution: found only at Alisitos Fm. (UCB A-8316)
