Type specimen: UCMP 33782, a partial shell. Its type locality is Alisitos Fm. (UCB A-8331), which is in an Aptian shallow subtidal siltstone in the Alisitos Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Alisitos Fm. (UCB A-8331)
