Type specimen: PIN 2066/1007, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2066), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.

Distribution: found only at Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2066)
