Type specimen: CM 47220, a partial skull (partial skull with left P3, M1-2). Its type locality is CM Locality 1548, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Wind River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at CM Locality 1548
