Sister taxa: Dzhulfites hebes, Dzhulfites nodosus, Dzhulfites spinosus, Dzhulfites zalensis
Type specimen: MfN MB.C.29748, a shell. Its type locality is Baghuk Mountain H section, -5.7 m, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate lime mudstone in the Hambast Formation of Iran.
