Sister taxon: Astroconodon delicatus
Type specimen: FMNH PM 542, a mandible (lower jaws). Its type locality is Greenwood Canyon, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Antlers Formation of Texas.
Ecology: amphibious piscivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (8: Oklahoma, Texas collections)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
