Type specimen: Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow, BSIP 36944. Its type locality is Right bank of Ghish River, Oodlabari, which is in a Miocene/Pliocene fluvial claystone/siltstone in India.

Ecology: "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at Right bank of Ghish River, Oodlabari
