Type specimen: Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, XZDY2-0200, a leaf. Its type locality is DY1, Dayu section, Lunpola Basin, which is in a Priabonian lacustrine - large shale in the Niubao Formation of China.

Ecology: "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at DY1, Dayu section, Lunpola Basin
