Type specimen: DGM 921-R (partial preantorbital portion of a right maxillary, with three teeth in loci, and a partial posterior portion of a right dentary). Its type locality is Price Quarry 1 (Caieira quarry), which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone in the Serra da Galga Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Price Quarry 1 (Caieira quarry)
