Type specimen: USTM 19, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is La Serre A bed 43, which is in a Frasnian carbonate limestone in the Serre Formation of France.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at La Serre A bed 43
