Sister taxon: Eospinosus peterkulkai
Type specimen: UCM 79057, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Anvil Points, Kohls locality 2002025, which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Anvil Points, Kohls locality 2002025
