- Brachyprotoma obtusata: Its type locality is Port Kennedy Cave, which is in an Irvingtonian cave horizon in Pennsylvania
- Brachyprotoma brevimala: BYUVP 7490, a partial skull (anterior portion of skull including a complete palate and the anterior portion of the braincase). Its type locality is Crystal Ball Cave, which is in a Pleistocene/Holocene cave siltstone in Utah.
