Sister taxa: Bryceomys fumosus, Bryceomys hadrosus

Type specimen: OMNH 33001, a tooth (m1). Its type locality is OMNH V868, Mussentuchit , which is in a Cenomanian crevasse splay horizon in the Cedar Mountain Formation of Utah.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (8: Idaho, Utah collections)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
