Type specimen: SNSB-BSPG 1973 I 195, a partial skeleton (skull lacking most of the rostrum and the anterior portion of the mandible). Its type locality is Mörnsheim, which is in a Tithonian carbonate marl in Germany.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Mörnsheim
