Sister taxon: Copedelphys stevensoni

Type specimen: AMNH 9603, a mandible ( a lower law with P3 and m2.4 and alveoli of the remaining teeth except incisors). Its type locality is Pipestone Springs, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial claystone in the Renova Formation of Montana.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution:
