Type specimen: RM- DRC97-001-01-08 and RMDRC97-001-10-16 (casts, UCM 213.1-213.4), a footprint (trackway). Its type locality is Holsti Ranch tracksite, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial claystone in the Hell Creek Formation of South Dakota.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Holsti Ranch tracksite
