Sister taxa: Magicivena antennalis, Magicivena elegans
Type specimen: CNU-LB2013101, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2013 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2013 collection
