Type specimen: CM 2013.18.790, a mandible (left dentary fragment with m2-3). Its type locality is Manuherikia River site, Saint Bathans, Home Hills Station, HH1a, which is in an Altonian lacustrine - large sandstone/claystone in the Bannockburn Formation of New Zealand.
