Type specimen: F:AM 31435, a partial skull (Top of cranium and horns, with burr). Its type locality is San Ildefonso Pueblo, which is in a Barstovian/Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in New Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer

Distribution:
