Type specimen: Institute of Paleontology and Stratigraphy, Lanzhou University, LUP0709-yy-14-3-070, a leaf. Its type locality is Yangyi, Baoshan, which is in a Pliocene fluvial claystone in the Yangyi Formation of China.

Ecology: "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at Yangyi, Baoshan
