Type specimen: Kunming Institute of Botany, FD 010 (endocarp). Its type locality is Fudong, Lanping (red claystone), which is in a Pliocene fluvial claystone in the Sanying Formation of China.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Fudong, Lanping (red claystone)
