Sister taxa: Alsophilidites bellus, Alsophilidites densus, Alsophilidites grandis, Alsophilidites kerguelensis, Alsophilidites pannuceus
Type specimen: Its type locality is Sakrigali Ghat, which is in a Jurassic fluvial horizon in the Rajmahal Formation of India
Distribution:
• Jurassic of India (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
