Type specimen: CPC 307, a partial skeleton (incomplete skeleton ($5.8m in esti- mated maximum length) incorporating articulated cranial and mandicular elements, 63 precaudal vertebrae, pectoral girdle, an). Its type locality is El Sombrero Ranch, which is in a Tithonian marine horizon in the La Caja Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at El Sombrero Ranch
