Type specimen: TAT34/TATAC46, a skull. Its type locality is Near Villavieja, Tatacoa Sandstone Beds, which is in a Laventan fluvial sandstone in the La Victoria Formation of Colombia.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore

Distribution: found only at Near Villavieja, Tatacoa Sandstone Beds
