Type specimen: SC2015.29.7 (F, a set of teeth. Its type locality is Dorchester Creek (Ashley Formation), which is in a Rupelian marine horizon in the Ashley Formation of South Carolina.

Distribution: found only at Dorchester Creek (Ashley Formation)
