Type specimen: KNM-MO 64199, a skull (cranium with left P1–M2, right P3–M3). Its type locality is Moruorot, which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Lothidok Formation of Kenya.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Moruorot
